Lisa Taback

A veteran entertainment public relations and marketing consultant, specializing in independent film. She began her career with Miramax Films with the film campaigns for “Pulp Fiction” and “Shakespeare in Love,” and launched her own company, LTLA Communications in 1999. Lisa specializes in strategy, promotional and creative advertising campaigns for many top feature films, television shows and companies. Some of her most notable Oscar campaigns include “The King’s Speech,” “The Artist,” “Chicago” and this year’s Oscar winners, “Spotlight” and “Room” as well as numerous documentary and foreign language film campaigns.  

Lisa is a member of Film Independent, Women in Film and is a mentor for Girls Learn International.  She has been a frequent panelist on entertainment marketing and publicity for such organizations as USC, UCLA and Emerson College.  Lisa holds a BA from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Journalism from Boston University.  She lives with her husband and two children in Los Angeles.
